FRISCO, Texas— The Philadelphia Union U-18s return to the Toyota Soccer Center after having recently hoisted the Dallas Cup trophy on the premises, and are joined by their U-16 and U-15 counterparts as they all compete in the MLS Next Flex tournament in Frisco looking to secure their postseason berths.
The competition is the final chance for teams to qualify for the MLS Next Cup. The U-16s have already clinched a spot after their 6-2 victory over Red Bulls last Saturday. The U-18s and U-15s are also in a good position to clinch a spot due to their rankings in the season standings, but can secure that spot earlier by winning their group in MLS Next Flex as well.

In 2025, the Union’s U-15 squad was victorious in a thrilling match. This year, they look to build on the successes they have had at each age group throughout the season. The teams have been seeded based on their records during the fall and spring in league play. The U-18 squad will be playing in the U-19 age group in Group C. The U-16s will compete in the U-17 age in Group I, and the the U-15s will be in the U-16 competition in Group A.
